it seems you can set WS_EX_LAYERED to Child Part under Win8

Hello Jimmy,
this works now, but now I have other problems. When I hide the dialog to the taskbar, the icon does not react anymore, so I cannot activate the dialog again.
The other problem is, that I make a frameless window for a bitmap on the main dialog to hide and display the next bitmap with blending effects. But each window is displayed in the bottom bar as empty window. I have used NOMINBUTTON NOMAXBUTTON NOTITLEBAR MOVEWITHOWNER NOWINDOWMENU.
