xdot

#1 Post by omni »

Roger,

I have one site where xdot has no command line. Very odd. is that a setting somewhere. i can type in some commands in the other area and run it ,but that is not convenient.

Any ideas?

I don't know what that means. No command line? I have never seen such a thing.

Can you take a screen snapshot?

I have never seen it before either. We use it everywhere.
Let me replace the files first, if its still that way then I will send you a screen shot.

This has happened on a number of our computers when we were switching from 1.8 to 1.9. Never could find the exact clause. Try deleting the any dclip.sys files in the path and then rebooting the computer. The dot prompt command line will come back after a few tries.

I wrote this a long time ago and forgot how I did it.

Just looked at the code and I see that the command line DCGET is on a DCSTATUSBAR.
It appears that there is an issue with the repainting of the DCSTATUSBAR.

What happens if you resize the window?
