The first CTP4 drop has just gone online. With this drop, touch-support for your existing Xbase++ application becomes reality without any code changes. Using touch gestures for panning through your data now is a standard feature of XbpBrowse and XbpQuickBrowse objects. Full-featured multi-touch applications supporting pan, rotate, zoom or tap gestures can be created using new events supported by all Xbase Parts.
In addition, various fixes for the PostgreSQL support as well as the new LayoutManager are included in this drop. With just a few lines of code, existing forms/dialogs become resizable.
Finally, Web application developers can now debug <CXP/> pages like any other application type in the Xbase++ Workbench Debugger. A more detailed list of the new features and changes included in this build can be found in the help file.
In order to download Xbase++ 2.0 CTP4, please log into your customer account and go to Downloads->Community Previews. Of course, only customers with an active subscription and customers which have purchased Xbase++ in the last 12 months are eligible to participate in CTPs.
Please keep in mind that CTP-related questions and/or issues are to be posted in the dedicated news group preview.xbase++.20 on our news server news.alaska-software.com

Re: Xbase++ 2.0 CTP4 available for download
Well, How many CTPs are we going to have before the release candidate of Xbase++ ?
Is there any one on this forum currently using 2.0 ?
If any, What is the experience like ?
