Autoscale options

We have customers that want to print their signature on documents and checks. They scan a signature for our use. By the time it is autoscaled it is sometimes very light. Is there a method in the dcprint autoscale to make the signature (bitmap) darker, or should we do that by enhancing the image with photoshop,etc?

It may be possible to darken the image by writing custom Gra*() code that repaints the image through shifting on the x,y axis. Send me an image file that contains a signature.
