DCBROWSE and Scrollbars
DCBROWSE and Scrollbars
If a browse contains a large or maybe filtered database, using the scrollbars to directly move to the end or beginning has some side effects. Sometimes, it's really hard to walk to the end/beginning. If NOSOFTTRACK is on, this leads to kind of strange behaviour. I know, there are hotkeys for the browse (CTRL-PgUp/PgDn) to do this, but users tend to use either the mouse OR the keyboard. I know, Scrollbars are XbaseParts and hard to manipulate. But my dream would be to have something like this (see picture). The topmost button moves to the beginning of the data source, the button below acts like the normal scrollbar button. Same thing at the bottom of the scrollbar. Possible? Interesting for others aswell?

Re: DCBROWSE and Scrollbars
That's a good idea, but I don't know how possible it will be to implement.
I will look into this.
