RE: Context Sensitive Help - How to ?

Hi Roger

How can I implement context sensitive help .CHM in express++ application ?

If .CHM file is not supported in Xbase++, How then can we implement help file system in our application for windows Vista/7 ?

Where can I download the best .CHM compiler. Not Microsoft help workshop ?

Run XDEMO.EXE - Sample Group 3 - Help Link.

This uses the HELPCODE clause of each DC* command to provide a link to the Help File that is defined in DCGETOPTIONS.

I have only tested this with *.HLP files, not *.CHM files, but I understand it works just as well with .CHM files.

I hope to find a way to create an EXPRESS.CHM file for the next release.
I am new to this myself.

Hi,

It is not free! It is a 15 day trial!
See http://abeetech.com/chmmakerpro/register.htm for the conditions.

It is rather cheap.
Best regards,

Chris.

Totally irrelevent comment, but I couldn't help noticing:

Shalom is a Hebrew word meaning hello, goodbye, and peace. The author is named Christianson. Just an intersting observation :)
