Odd Error

#1 Post by omni »

Roger,

I had mentioned earlier about a user that has his main menu app say it could not be opened. Happens about one a week or so. They reboot the server and it is fine.

Look at this message:

Opmenu.exe is our app name.

Never seen anything like this before. do not know what ntdll.dll is.

We have told them many times it is hardware and their hardware person says it our software, which means he does not have a clue. (and he does not).
They are running all clients via remote access to a terminal server, which is fairly routine as many of our clients to this.

Just thought it may be a possibility that somebody had seen this elsewhere.

ntdll.dll is located in c:\windows\system32. It contains windows kernel functions.

It could be a bad installation of Windows or a bad memory location.

No, that is not their version. All logs show .355. The only .254 is Express, but its only one 9 on the version. Very odd on that error.
