Face recognition software

Does anyone use face recognition software?

I wrote an application for a customer that uses a card scanner to recognize employees who are about to walk through a metal detector. They would like to offer the option of face recognition rather than card recognition. It would need to be controlled by the Xbase++ application and would need to be a DLL or OCX.

just looking for something like this but it begin with my build-in CAM ... i'm not able to activate it with Xbase++.

it have work under Windows 7 but i "think" under Windows 10 a App must have Rights to access CAM.
most Sample i found are working as UWP but this are DotNet ... other Sample working with Directshow.

perhaps we can use WIA Interface. did someone have a Xbase++ WIA Sample ?

p.s.
if you want to recognize a face your CAM also must have some IR (for Temperature) to be sure that it is not a Photo in front of the CAM

i "hear" you also can Xbox Kinetic which is much cheaper ... but still we need a Wrapper for Xbase++
