I have been asked to have another spring conference in Boise, Idaho this year.

The time-frame will be early May.

Brian Wolfsohn will be here with 2 programmers.
Bobby Drakos has committed to coming.
Richard Covington has committed to coming with one of his programmers.

I have some interesting new features in eXpress++ to show those of you who use ADSDBE or ODBCDBE plus a nice new utility program.

Please let me know if you are interested.

This will most likely happen even if it is only 7 of us, but more would be better.

I would love to come to Spain some day.
I have been to Portugal and the weather reminded me of Newport Beach, California where I lived for many years.

Are we still on for this? I need to set this up with the boss and my employer.

I haven't set any firm dates yet.

Anything including the first weekend in may works for us... the second weekend will require some flight changes and issues....

Let's set the dates for May 2 (Thursday) thru May 4 (Saturday).
Everyone can arrive on May 1( Wednesday) and leave on May 5 (Sunday).

This will give us 3 working days.

If there are 8 or less of us, then we will meet in my apartment.
I can host that many without the need for a meeting room.
I can supply coffee, snacks, lunch, etc.

If there are 9 or more of us, then I will need to procure a meeting room at the hotel.
The room rate at local hotel has increased over the years. $172 per night.
I may be able to get us a reduced rate, but probably no better than $149 per night.

I will walk to the hotel today to see what I can do.

It's time to get a show of hands so I can negotiate a rate for us.

I need names of those who are committed to this.

As far as agenda is concerned, we cover anything that is on your mind, however I have my own agenda too.
This is based on what I am asked to do the most often when consulting with my customers. For example:

6. Writing code that is more maintainable and readable. Using Record Objects and Data Objects.
7. Why I developed SqlQuery.exe (free with eXpress++) as a more useful tool than ADS Architect and even SQL Server Management Studio. Bring your data with you so I can teach you how to use this tool.
