I want to ask whether you or anyone from the conference participants would be able to make a video recording of the individual lectures, if it is possible, and share it on YouTube as Alaska did it at the last conference?
I don't know if this is feasible.
Alaska Software utilizes a much more formal presentation method which also include PowerPoint.
My presentations are more similar to the way I handle workshops at the conferences. They are very ad-hoc and are driven by the attendees and their needs. I am usually tuned in to the capabilities and needs of eXpress++ users and therefore I saw the need to have this conference. Almost every Xbase++ user and FoxPro user who walked away from that conference decided that they didn't understand what benefit they will derive from Xbase++ 2.0. I don't think I am wrong about this. I came to this conclusion after reading postings on the Alaska Newsgroup since the October 2014 conference. It seems to me that Alaska did not connect with their community in a compelling way. I want to present 2.0 in a way that is more compelling and less confusing. Also, 2.0 has some nice concepts that will apply to 1.9.
I also want to ask whether the demonstrations and examples will be available on your web site or here? Or will be included into sample eXpress++ folder?
I have already posted many examples on this forum and will continue to do so. If I write any whitepapers they will definitely become available on this forum.

I will be arriving on Wednesday April 29th. I am flying out with Bobby D who will be looking at my code on the way.
As a result I'm sure he will be exhausted when we get there:)
Reservation confirmed for the hotel as well.
See ya then.

That's great that you are flying together.

How did you get Lufthansa to remove a seat for Michael's legs?

There aren't any seats in the aircraft. It's a cargo aircraft. ;)

I will be creating 2 video files each day (1 each for morning session and afternoon session). It will be a capture of the screen that all attendees are viewing plus the audio. I will post the video files on the website each day for download.

Roger,

I have just realized that you have not requested any payment for attending the conference. Have you arrived at a cost for attendees yet and do you want the payment prior to May 1?

Dian -

No, I have not requested any payment yet.
I thought I would pass the hat to cover the cost of the banquet dinner.
I'm guessing about $100 per person.

The rest of the cost is on Donnay Software. I'm gonna let the boss pay for it.
